Hi guys!

I'm moving into my own apartment and all my walls are empty. I want to make the apartment look more like home and all the blank white walls really aren't helping. 😶 That's why I stared to browse Pinterest, check some Youtube videos and I spent hours on Google. So I have a different DIY post for you today. I decided to collect a few ideas from the Internet that I love and plan to make. I will update this post with my photos when I finish the projects. 😇

1. Yarn wall motifs
I love this easy and minimalist wall decor. I think it can spice up every room and it's a simple way to add some color in your interior design. I found this amazing idea on Drew Scott's Youtube channel. Here is his video, where he explains tho whole process (from 3:22): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzbnN2xBV2g.


2. Family hand collage
This one is so simple, a kid can do it. 😜 All you have to do, is outline your and your family members's hands on a colored paper (be creative - you can use only one color of paper of combine more), cut it out and stick it on a large paper. Repeat for all the hands and you have a cute and meaningful piece of art for your place. You can then put the finished art in a frame, to class it up a bit.  A variation of this one is, to just put your hand in a tempera color of your choosing and stamp your hand on a canvas. Repeat for all family members and you're done. As simple as that. 😉


3. Toilet paper roll wall art
For a large wall in a room with this color scheme, you can definitely make this work. It's super simple to make and you need almost no money to get a huge piece of wall decor. Love it. 😀

4. World map pin board
If you love traveling like I do, you have to make this one! 🌎 All you need is a pin board, a printed world map (you can buy one or have it printed at a local photocopy place), some glue and pins. Just glue the map on the pin board and pin the places you've been with one color and places you want to visit with another. You can go a step further and create cute sacs for the leftover pins you might wanna use in the future and decorate the board to match your style. 😎


5. Gallery wall
Last but not least, make a gallery wall. They are super trendy right now. You can put some of your pics in the frames or just use some printable quotes (you can find many options on Pinterest). The best part is, it can be just the way you want it, to fit the room style and to motivate you while making the room look just great. ✨

Hi guys!

I'm back with the next day on Seychelles. :)



In the morning we took the bus all around the Praslin coast from Cote d'Or all the way to Anse Kerlan (the drive lasted about one hour). Then we walked to the gate of luxurious resort Constance Lemuria, because the only way to the beach Anse Georgette. And you have to make a reservation beforehand, because they have a limited number of guests allowed on the beach each day.
We walked through the gates and we ended up on this huge golf course.


After a 20 minute stroll between beautiful trees and perfectly green grass, we arrived to Anse Georgette. When we thought that we couldn't be surprised by the beauty of the beaches here .... All I can say is wow. I'll let the pics do the talking, I think you'll get what I'm talking about. ;)

After enjoying under the palm trees and  in the turquoise sea. for more than 5 hours, we went back on the bus. We met a man fro  Denmark and we helped him get to the right bus and a family from Slovenia - that was a surprise. We talked all the way to Grand Anse. There we walked around a bit, but the beach wasn't nearly as nice as the ones we saw the past couple of days. Here we found a more local part with school, police station, football ground, church and the Monument of Independence. Then it was time for the adventuristic and bumpy ride with super old bus back to our AirBnB.


Since it was Valentines day, my boyfriend booked a romantic dinner in Les Lauriers Restaurant, were they have buffet dinners. The food was delicious - we ate the best fish soup in our lives, followed by some salads (they had at least 15 different choices), a selection of local vegetables (including some kind of palm core - I still don't know what that was exactly :P), grouper fish, shark and for the end a delicious banana tart with ice cream on the side. Yummy. :D

This day was very special, because it was our first Valentines day together and we spent it doing what we both love the most - travelling.

I’m back with another post of my travel diary on Seychelles. 🌴



The third day on Praslin was amazing! We went on a tour on Curieuse Island and St. Pierre Islet. In the morning there was a taxi waiting for us in front of our AirBnB and gave us a ride to the beach (it wasn’t that far, we could have walked but the ride was included in the tour price so …). The driver introduced us to Robert, our guide for the day. He took us to a private speedboat and took us on Curieuse Island. The boat was awesome, the fastest around and the ride was so much fun. 😀


There are no people living on this island, it basically has just a tortoise farm and Doctors House (it was being renovated and we couldn’t go inside). We first admired turtles (they walk around the island freely). A guy named Rico came to us and introduced himself as our cook (we had a BBQ planned on the other side of the island).


When we saw all the turtles we wanted to see, we went to the other side – to Anse St. Jose. The path was very interesting, full of beautiful rocks, palm trees and tropical plants. A part of the path was through some kind of swamps, were we saw many big snails, mangroves and different kinds of crabs. The path was neat, tidy and I think quite new. There were also some signs about the surrounding flora and fauna.


After quite a long walk we arrived to Anse St. Jose. It was breathtaking. White sand, tropical greenery, red and brown rocks and turquoise sea. Plus a huge bonus – no people (they were all crowded at the part of the beach where the boats arrive). We could spend all day on a beach like this. But we didn’t have much time. We ate some jack fish and chicken on BBQ (not a huge fan of jack fish – the taste was very strong and I didn’t like the consistency either), rice, salad and small bananas (yummy). Robert was waiting for us after lunch with the speedboat and we had to say goodbye to our favorite beach.


We got to St. Pierre Islet in a blink of an eye with the speedboat. Robert gave us fins and masks and we jumped in the sea, ready for snorkeling. It was a bit sad, because all the corals were dead – we asked why and Robert told us about coral bleaching. But the fishes were pretty so we enjoyed that. We also saw a turtle swimming past us and I was super excited. 😎

After that, Robert took us around St. Pierre Islet and back to our beach. We stayed there for a while, just relaxing in the shadow. Then we went to the same food truck as every day and took some fish, similar to tuna, with rice. We ate at the beach and when it got dark, we went back to our room.
